Love this place. Good food and good service. Feels very welcoming.

Came for breakfast and coffee...Coffee wasn't the greatest rather watery and bitter.. breakfast was okay just okay but had good time together anyway!!

Went here on a Sunday morning, and it picked up quite a bit after we had sat down. I ordered one of the specials, the Harvest Scrambler. Some of the vegetables in it were raw, and I'm not sure if this is was on purpose. It was on the bland side as were the hash browns. The rye toast was really tasty. It did take some time for our food to come out, but the staff is friendly and attentive.

Ive ordered their fish fry's on Friday's. Excellent food, you get your money's worth. Employee's are friendly. Their pies home made pies looked delicious but I was to stuffed to eat any. Nicecozy restraurant and its a clean place.

Amazing food. (I had a Rueben and it was top knotch) Reasonable price. Kind waitress, and nice inside.

Not very clean, but I've seen worse. Staff was decent, but overall customer service wasn't exceptional. Food was okay. Not sure where the whole "alpine" thing came from either.

Absolutely beautiful architecture. Every little detail truly makes it feel as though you are in a safe place. And the food is absolutely scrumptious. The service is pleasant and very kind. Highly recommend coming and having a bite to eat.

Bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries = $13.50, yet there was really nothing special about. Just regular bar food. Booths incredibly uncomfortable, like high back church pews.

Wow !!! Love this place. First time there and I will definitely go back. Food was great and so was the service. Beautiful old building (including the tin roof!) Too bad I don't live there (I'm from Madison) or I'd be there every day!

Friendly and courteous service. Very clean and nostalgic restaurant. Plenty of food options. Servings were large with good flavor and reasonable prices considering the amount. Had about 10 different home made pie flavors, but too full from lunch to have a large piece for dessert.

Delicious lunch (Turkey burger & sweet potato fries with wonderful raisin coleslaw) in a lovely vintage setting. The old-fashioned wooden booths are lovely. Service is fast & friendly.

The breakfast I had was great and even in the background behind the counter, the small jukebox radio was a nice touch.

Tasty breakfast.....great waitress....Lots of coffee. Omelet was good, just needed to be bigger!

Been going here for years and still lobe the food. I meet my kids there for breakfast often!

Very cozy cafe with amazing homemade food! There Turkey club sandwich is delicious with thick sweet potato fries that are super yummy. And for you ranch-aholics they make an AMAZING homemade ranch! Their Apple raisin coleslaw they make by hand has a sweetness to it, with a slight creaminess to it, really good! Their cherry crumb cake is really good too. Friendly staff and helpful. Definitely recommend!!

Comfy, cozy hometown restaurant with good food and friendly staff. Known for their great soups!

Great food and customer service. Food is always accurate and fast along with the service. Never had any problems.

Great service each time I go in. Wonderful home cooking, and reasonable prices. The homemade pies are out of this world.

Love Alpine breakfast! And today I had the rosemary truffle fries- sooo good!

Very good food. I was impressed by their respons to the Covid19 guidelines. My wife and I are looking forward to enjoying another meal again with them soon.

It was mediocre. Food was fine. Staff, specifically the waitress, was meh. Wouldn't make a point to go back unless I was trying a breakfast menu item.

Great breakfast. We had French toast, blueberry pancakes and oatmeal. All were excellent. We got to eat inside and the place was clean and the staff very friendy. Tables were spaced out nicely. We eat here every time we come to town. I highly recommend Jen's.

Old town restaurant feel. Great food and portions. Best pancakes in town!! Located right on the square for day wandering the local vibe. Thumbs up from me. 👍

Overpriced for a small restaurant that has been in Baraboo since I can remember (40 yrs plus). My sandwich was dry and not very good. Server seemed like she was busy so we had to stop her when we needed something she forgot or refills. Just wasn't what I remember from when I was younger. Birdies right down the street from them is a better choice, just watch their hours they are not standard.

Service was excellent and the food was even better. By far the BEST Italian wedding soup I have ever had. Would absolutely return.

The food is fantastic, soups and desserts to die for, portions are very generous and Jen and staff are great!!

Nice atmosphere and service was fine . Had steak and eggs , steak was not very good with plenty of grizzle . American fries were diced not sliced . Make sure you check the hours of operation before you go .

Loved this nostalgic diner! Enjoyed the ambiance with wood seats and mirrors at each table....the waitress was very friendly. The food was phenomenal!!! I would definitely recommend this place.

Think it's one of the best independent restaurants. I am so tired of "chains" and fast food. And the staff has always been wonderful ❤️

I love this place we drive over 2 hours a few times a year to have breakfast!

I had the southwestern salad that had steak, black beans, corn and tortilla strips. Very good. The service was good and reasonably priced.Our waitress was very friendly. Plan to visit again.

This is a great place to go for a bowl of soup. You have a lot of soups to choose from and they are good quality. My most recent was a fantastic beer cheese soup.

Charm from days long since gone. Food is excellent. Staff always accommodating.Greek wrap delicious.
